Project Story

The Indigenous Peoples Experience at Fort Edmonton Park is a first-of-its-kind, immersive exhibit developed in collaboration with Treaty Six First Nations, The Métis Nation of Alberta, Fort Edmonton Management Company and the City of Edmonton. At the heart of the experience is a 30,000 sqft cultural centre where visitors can delve into an Indigenous worldview through storytelling that combines technical wonder with timeless knowledge and culture.

Hidden Story Productions spent three years conducting in-depth community consultations, creating digital media for dozens of projections / screens, and directing the show experience for the cultural centre. The Indigenous Peoples Experience won the THEA Award for Outstanding Heritage Experience.
